How to use

*Our eftpos Gift Cards are for physical shopfronts only. It can be used in-store anywhere that eftpos is accepted. To redeem your gift card, follow the simple steps below.

Redeem In-store

Once you have registered your card here. Simply swipe your gift card at the payment terminal anywhere eftpos is accepted.

Select “SAVINGS,” enter the PIN on the back of card and you’re done.

Check your balance and card expiry date anytime by clicking “Check balance”.

Register your card so in the unlucky event you misplace it, we can cancel and reissue it for you, should the card still have an available balance. Also, stay up to date with new offers from TCN and our partners.

What does that mean for you?

If you lose or misplace your card and there are still available funds on the card at the time you notify us, we’ll send you a replacement card for that amount.

Your eftpos Gift Card can be used to make purchases at merchant that accepts eftpos, subject to the merchant’s discretion. Your gift card cannot be used to withdraw cash.

Your eftpos Gift Card runs on the eftpos payment platform. This gift card cannot be used online or for any ‘card not present’ transactions.

Using your eftpos Gift Card in store is very easy – simply swipe your gift card at the eftpos terminal. Select ‘SAVINGS’, enter the PIN on the back of card and you’re done.

If the transaction amount exceeds the cards balance, you will need to pay for the remaining amount with a different card or cash.

No, you can choose how and where you want to spend your card balance. Any remaining balance after your transaction will stay on the card as long as it’s valid for. This way you can enjoy your eftpos Gift Card more than once!

No, your eftpos gift card cannot be used at an ATM.

The pin number is under the scratch panel on the back of the card. Scratch the panel lightly to reveal the pin

Only the exact value of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card, so you can use the card for more purchases later. No change will be provided.

Yes. You can check the expiry date via the “Check Balance” button on the website.

Your eftpos Gift Card should be treated like cash and kept in a secure place. If you register your eftpos Gift Card here and lose or misplace your card and there are still available funds on the card at the time you notify us, we’ll send you a replacement card for that amount. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.

Some possibilities include:

  1. The balance you have nominated is not available. You can check your card balance here
  2. Your card has expired. The eftpos Gift Card have a 36-month expiry, which can be calculated 36 months from the date of sale.
  3. You have entered the incorrect PIN number
  4. Some stores do not accept eftpos cards
